The 2nd round of 1/8E&IC buggy took place last weekend on nice track in Dolni Bukovsko. Home club did good job and prepared nice track and whole area for the races, thanks a lot! We arrived in Friday afternoon for free practice, both my XB8â™16 and XB8â™16E felt great from the beginning and we did only a few small changes on the cars.
In 1/8E qualifications my Orion powered XB8â™16 on PL Switchblade X3 was dialled and TQed all three qualifications, which meant overall TQ!
In 1/8IC qualifications I took TQ in Q1, but tech. issues in Q2&Q3 meant I finished overall 5th! Overall TQ went to David Kukla&XB8â™15, congratulations!
During the first 1/8E semi huge thunder storm started and everyone knew the race was finished. After about 40 minutes the rain stopped, racers and organisers agreed on ending the race and the results were taken after qualifications!
